about-atelier-interior.webpWe do not carry stock. We carry provenance.
Forty-two ateliers, six countries, and a single rule: every object arrives with the name of the person who made it.
The finest objects in the world are rarely sold well
Élysian began with a returned watch. A client had bought a tourbillon from a well-known retailer and received it in a plastic pouch with a photocopied warranty card. Nobody could tell him who had assembled it. He sent it back.
We built the house we would have wanted for him. Objects are acquired directly at the bench, never through brokers or the grey market. Each is photographed in our own studio under one light, then filed with the report from the atelier that made it, gemmology from Antwerp, movement inspection in Le Locle, leather grading in Florence.
Of every hundred pieces offered to us, nine reach the vault. Editions are fixed at release, and when the last number ships the reference is retired. Nothing is restocked, and nothing is discounted.
An object you cannot trace is decoration. An object you can is an inheritance.

The process is slow on purpose. A single acquisition can take eleven months from first visit to listing.
Direct from the maker
We buy at the bench, photograph in our own studio, and never list a piece we have not held.
Independently authenticated
Third-party reports on stones, movements and hides, filed under your name for life.
Numbered, then closed
Editions are fixed at release. When the last number ships, the reference is retired permanently.
Serviced for life
Every object returns to its own atelier for servicing, at our cost, for as long as you own it.
